1st & 2nd shift Manufacturing Company - Material Handlers
SUMMER HELP NEEDED FOR PRODUCTION IN YOUNGWOOD, PA
$14.00 1st Shift $16.00 2nd Shift
Hours can go from 8-12 hours shifts. Start times varies.
Forklift experience, would be a plus.
The Material Handler performs general duties that include, but one not limited to; measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks. Checks for general defects in material, communicates quality issues to pour table operators during the production run, assist with attaching labels and gluing slats to bundles, adjusting saws and may assist in loading of packaging machine plastic and will also perform housekeeping duties.
I'd like someone who has manufacturing background preferably with some quality type of background (inspecting parts, looking for defects etc). It can be fast paced. It can be hot. It is not dirty but there is fiberglass-type products in the building and some people may have allergy. I'd like someone who has recent forklift experience and has worked around saws before (table-type saws). They must be proficient at math. Must have GED or HS diploma.
The chosen candidate would need to pass a drug screen and a background check.
Steel toe shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, sleeveless shirts etc.
